How to Choose a Foundation Repair Company in Oklahoma: A Guide for Homeowners Who Value the Truth

By Noah Zuhdi, Owner – Oklahoma Foundation Solutions, LLC

Choosing a foundation repair OKC company is one of the more important decisions a homeowner will make. It’s expensive. It’s stressful. And unfortunately, the industry has earned a reputation for pressure tactics, fear-based sales, and–increasingly–misinformation about competitors.

Let’s address the last one directly.

The Rise of Misinformation in the Foundation Repair Industry

Over the past several years, we’ve watched foundation repair companies in Oklahoma shift their strategy. Instead of competing on the quality of their work, some have started competing on the reputation of their competitors, spreading claims that are unverified, misleading, or outright false.

While hearing uncertain claims can be surprising at first, I understand why it happens. I get it: Foundation repair is a high-ticket decision. And if a company can plant a seed of doubt about a competitor, then they don’t have to earn the sale on merit.

Homeowners deserve better than that. To be frank, Oklahoma deserves better than that.

So let me tell you how we operate at Oklahoma Foundation Solutions — and more importantly, how you should evaluate any foundation repair company, including ours.

We Don’t Speak Poorly of Our Competitors. Ever.

This isn’t a marketing line. It’s a rule.

At OFS, we don’t talk poorly about other companies. We don’t run ads attacking competitors. We don’t spread stories about other businesses in our industry.

If a homeowner asks us directly about a competitor, then we’ll tell them what we know for certain and nothing more. We differentiate professionally and never make it personal.

Why? Because the second a company starts selling you on why someone else is bad, they’ve stopped selling you on why they’re good. That’s a red flag homeowners should pay attention to, no matter who it’s coming from.

How to Check on a Foundation Repair Company

If someone tells you something about a foundation repair company in Oklahoma, good or bad, here’s how to verify it:

  1. Check the Secretary of State records. Every legitimate business is registered. You can verify when a company was formed, who owns it, and whether it’s in good standing. It takes two minutes.
  2. Look up the owner. Real business owners have real histories. A quick Google search of an owner’s name will tell you a lot about whether their background matches what’s being claimed by them or about them.
  3. Read the reviews. Not just the five-star ones. Look at how a company responds to criticism. That tells you more than the ratings themselves.
  4. Verify the company’s rating with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB tracks how long a company has been in business, its accreditation status, its rating, and any complaints filed against it; along with how those complaints were resolved. A company with a strong BBB rating and a clean complaint history has earned that reputation over time.
  5. Verify warranties in writing. Verbal promises mean nothing. A real warranty is documented, transferable, and backed by a company that will still be around to honor it. Just as important, make sure the company has a track record of standing behind their work. At OFS, we treat warranty calls as an opportunity to prove to homeowners that they put their trust in the right company.

A Little About My Background

I grew up in Oklahoma in a family where doing the work right wasn’t negotiable. It was mandatory. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about my grandfather and his values. My grandfather, Dr. Nazih Zuhdi, was a world-renowned heart surgeon who performed Oklahoma’s first successful heart transplant and was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 1994 (Nazih Zuhdi, Class of 1994 | Oklahoma Hall of Fame). Through his successful surgeries and groundbreaking inventions, he is responsible for saving millions of lives. He taught our family that reputation is earned one day at a time.

I carried the lessons he instilled in me into my own career. I played college basketball, earned a law degree, passed the Oklahoma bar exam, and went on to become a world champion professional boxer — a career that demanded years of preparation, discipline, and the willingness to be judged publicly on results. I’ve also spent years as an attorney and a real estate investor before starting OFS.

None of this makes me a better foundation repair owner on its own. Yet, the lifelong combination of transparency and work ethic drives the spirit of the company. And it does mean that my entire adult life is a matter of public record. Anyone can look it up. Anyone can verify it.

That kind of transparency is exactly what you should demand from any company asking to work on your home.

What We Stand For at Oklahoma Foundation Solutions

We built OFS on a specific idea: that homeowners should be educated before they’re sold to. That’s why we created the OFS Free Foundation Health Check. It’s a no-pressure, no-obligation tool that helps you understand what’s happening with your home before anyone tries to sell you anything.

We built this company the right way. For years, we’ve provided thousands of Oklahomans across the state with peace of mind that their most important investment – their home – is secure. We train our crews well. We stand behind our work. We treat every customer the way we’d want our own family treated.

We let the results speak for themselves.

A Final Word

If you’re considering a foundation repair project, then our advice is simple:

  • Take your time.
  • Get more than one opinion.
  • Verify everything about every company, including ours.
  • Trust what you can observe directly, not what someone tells you about someone else.

You deserve clarity. You deserve honesty. And you deserve a company that earns your business on the strength of its own work. Not on stories about anyone else.

If that’s what you’re looking for, we’d be honored to earn your trust.
